Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) is a centralized test conducted by participating National Law Universities respectively according to their year of establishment on 2nd Sunday of May every year for admission to 19 National Law Universities and dozens of other education institutes in India.
Not less than 40,000 law aspirants appeared in CLAT exam last year. CLAT 2018 is being was conducted by The National University of Advanced Legal Studies Kochi . Candidates need to clear CLAT in order to secure admission in BA LLB (Hons), BSc LLB (Hons), BBA LLB (Hons), BSW LLB (Hons), BCom LLB (Hons) and LLM programmes on offer at the NLUs. 19 NLUs accept CLAT scores to fill 632 LLM seats and 2352 LLB seats,

Only Indian nationals and NRI’s can appear in the test. The foreign nationals desirous of taking admission to any course in any of the participating Law Universities may directly contact the concerned University having seats for foreign nationals.
The eligibility requirements are as follows:
General/OBC/Special Ability - INR 4000 SC/ST: INR 3500
The candidates can make the fee payment online through Credit/Debit Card or Net Banking.
This law entrance exam is of two hours duration. The CLAT question paper consists of 200 multiple choice questions. There are five sections in CLAT exam papers.
